As new inspection requirements emerge so does the need for written, Level III approved inspection procedures. I’ve drafted and reviewed nondestructive personnel certification and testing procedures for industrial clients and government agencies.
Qualification Examinations
Testing personnel turnover seems inevitable. New employees may arrive with credentials, but how do you know they can execute your procedures to your satisfaction? I frequently develop and administer written and practical examinations to permit certification of your candidate employees in accordance with your company’s written procedure. To minimize impact to your workflow I can travel to your location to administer examinations.
Audits
My independent quality assurance audits of nondestructive test programs not only reassure management of adherence to consensus standards and internal procedures, but also identify process escapes and advise of best industrial practices.
Lecture & Hands On Training
I frequently present customized training sessions designed to meet client specific needs, focused on actual techniques and test articles as well as satisfying ASNT SNT-TC-1A or NAS 410 requirements. My experience teaching undergraduate and graduate level materials engineering courses has helped me develop strategies for effective communication. I prefer to blend hands-on laboratory exercises with organized classroom lectures that can be presented at your company’s offices or other convenient locations, such as a hotel conference room.
